James Grau

For over 30 years, James Grau has held various positions in television and event production.

 

Mr. Grau, a Graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, began his career at Charisma Communications, an advertising agency and a production company.  Mr. Grau was responsible for developing marketing and advertising campaigns for CBS Sports, CBS Radio, CBS News, Rolex Watch Company, IBM, AT&T and Bristol Myers. Accomplishments included winning a National Emmy Award for producing the 1983 Superbowl XVI show opening titles.

 

Following his career at Charisma Communications, Mr. Grau went on to develop, manage, distribute and launch several international television networks with programming targeted towards the ethnic population in the United States and Canada.

 

Capitalizing on Mr Grau's production experience, in 2005 Mr. Grau founded Space Events along with his wife Elvira. Space events is a all inclusive 26,000 sq ft. event space in Englewood, NJ which provides catering, entertainment, decor and event planning under one roof. 


Recently, Mr. Grau and his wife opened Space 54 in the heart of midtown Manhattan. This 4,500 square foot private bar/event space is also offers all of the all inclusive services as Space Events.
